Qiew Speed
SPEED ARCHITECTURE …
Qiew delivers important information fast to an organization's most important customers, subscribers, members, and others.
Qiew's technology is fundamentally structured differently from conventional secure messaging. The standard approach is to encrypt a message, send it, and then
decrypt it at the receiving end.
Instead, Qiew does not transmit the content of a message. The sender sends a small code that is transformed into information that tells the QiewViewer at the receiving
end where to find each of the various elements of the message.
Those elements may be images, blocks or tables of text, or parts of web pages. The QiewViewer app retrieves the desired parts, assembles them, and
arranges them on the receiving phone.
SPEED BENEFIT …
The benefit of this approach is:
Qiew is fast
-
The slowest stage of transmission delivers only the tiny 160 byte SMS message that carries the code to the receiving phone.
-
The total load of a Qiew message typically consists of fewer bytes. Instead of transmitting an entire web page of as much as 15MB, Qiew can deliver the important
3kB — a saving of 99.98%.
-
The elements of the message are downloaded simultaneously in separate software threads for maximum efficiency.
-
Database retrievals are isolated to avoid delays downloading other elements.
-
The payload is secured by HTTPS end-to-end, replacing slower software encryption with faster hardware.
-
All transmission is direct end-to-end; no intermediary servers interrupt.
-
Caches deliver duplicate calls for images locally, avoiding retransmissions.
Qiew is on-time
-
Senders control precisely the timing of sending each of the text messages that initiate a Qiew delivery.
-
92% of text messages are viewed within 90 seconds of arrival.
-
The vast majority of Qiew views will likely occur much closer to the sending time than any other messaging.
Qiew incorporates decades of pioneering experience in digital communications protocols to optimize the performance it delivers.
